About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Semiconductor M&A Advisor to provide strategic, financial, and operational guidance on mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and capital market transactions within the global semiconductor and semiconductor equipment sectors. The ideal candidate brings a unique combination of Wall Street expertise, deep semiconductor industry knowledge, and boardroom-level strategic insight to guide both growth-stage companies and large-scale incumbents through transformative deals.

Key Responsibilities

Deal Origination & Advisory

  • Identify, evaluate, and structure potential M&A, divestiture, and strategic investment opportunities in semiconductors and adjacent sectors (equipment, materials, cleantech).

  • Provide advisory on IPOs, SPACs, and private placements with institutional investors.

Strategic & Financial Analysis

  • Conduct valuation, due diligence, and risk assessments for target companies.

  • Offer insights into market cycles, competitive landscapes, and technology shifts (e.g., AI, advanced packaging, EUV, digital twins).

Execution Leadership

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to C-suites, boards, and investors on transaction strategy and execution.

  • Support negotiation of deal structures, integration strategies, and post-deal value capture.

Thought Leadership & Market Intelligence

  • Provide cutting-edge industry insights through whitepapers, newsletters, and investor briefings.

  • Act as a visible subject-matter expert at conferences, panels, and media outlets.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 15+ years in semiconductor finance, investment banking, private equity, or corporate development, with a proven track record in successful M&A execution.

  • Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of semiconductor technologies, equipment supply chain, and capital intensity of the industry.

  • Deal Experience: Involvement in multi-billion-dollar IPOs, acquisitions, or cross-border deals in the semiconductor sector.

  • Education: Advanced degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Finance, or Business.

  • Network: Established relationships with semiconductor executives, investors, and global industry stakeholders.

  • Skills: Strong financial modeling, negotiation, and strategic communication abilities.
